So much! Mom and Dad have been here for 2 weeks now... and we haven't stopped! Andrew and I took a few days to get away when I had to be in Halifax the first week... we had a great time. My cousin Mel, her friend, and parents were also in Halifax, so we went out for some Halifax music / dining and had a great time. Then it was back to Shediac just in time to catch Shaun's soccer game. I was back in NS for work the following day for work. The weekend was pretty quiet, with a night at the beach (before the 'Hurricane' Bill hype- we didn't get any kind of storm!). Then this past week we went to PEI for most of the week. We took in some Baseball/ Volleyball games at the Canada Games, toured a bit of the island with the kids, and of course I did some work!! We took the ferry back to Pictou, NS, and visited with Poppa's cousin last night before heading home. .... see.... it has been busy!! I will get around to posting some pictures here.... but first i have to get through the mountain of laundry!!
This week is not too busy, but it will give me a chance to get a bit organized before Andrew's brother and family are coming to visit for the next week..... oh.... and for Shaun's first few days at kindergarten!!
The summer has flown by, as usual. We have not had a great summer with the weather, but have tried to have fun anyway! We have spent some time biking, a little time at the beach... it's all good!
Soon the leaves will be changing and we will be heading into the cold, dark winter months (YUCK!) Good thing we have more company on the way to help keep my spirits high!!!

Date night with the kids- July
A few weeks ago we bought a new little trailer to pull with the bikes. We started the night with dinner out for sushi, and then we ventured to the Peticodiac River in Moncton for a little ride. The kids LOVED it! They were giggling and having a great time! It is a lot of fun. We have been riding bikes with Shaun since last summer, but he is not able to go too far on his own yet, so this way we can go a little further (as long as Andrew can handle pulling them!) It has been a lot of fun so far!

Yeah for visitors!
Last week, I was very fortunate to have my 'longest' friend Sarah come for a visit on her way back from France. We have been friends since high school, and still have a very close relationship. She spent a few days here, in Shediac, then we ventured to Halifax for a fun night on the town (man has that been a long time!). I was then invited to stay with Sarah at her grandmother's house in Dartmouth.
We were able to get caught up on about 3 months of 'news' and discussions, so we should be good for another 2 weeks (at least!!) before we need another 2 hour phone call!
Thank you Sarah for the visit. It was a lot of fun and it was so nice to see you again! Nothing beats girl time with good friends!

Celebrate!
We celebrated Alexa's birthday yesterday. We had a few friends over, and Alexa was quite excited. When I was decorating her cake she was a typical 2 year old... 'my cake! ... yes, that it your cake... NO MINE!!!'.... oh the thoughts that go through their minds!
She was not sure what to do with the candles ... looking to Andrew for some help/ direction! I think Shaun helped her out eventually!
